One way is using the tricks that got you interested in a new artist. This is why it is so important to be able to talk about your music and style in an easy-to-understand and interesting way. However, like any style or brand, you do not always get full control of the things people say and think about you as an artist. Style is really just a combination of the unique things that make you an artist. Your performance, your look, your voice, and your repertoire are all parts of your style. The truth is, style is made up of lots of parts. It’s not set in stone, which is why musicians hire publicists and managers.
